Travel basketball 2024-2025

Registration for the 2024-2025 RBA Travel season is now closed - tryouts begin the week of October 7!

Each grade will have two (2) tryouts over a two-week span
- While it is highly encouraged that each student-athlete attends both tryout sessions, the schedule is staggered to avoid potential conflicts as best as possible
- Following the tryout, you will be contacted and told which team your student-athlete has earned a spot on; in the event there are not enough spots for all participating players, the RBA is offering House Basketball and the 2024-2025 Draft will not take place until RBA Travel Tryouts are completed to ensure all interested in playing will have the opportunity to do so
- No payment is required at the time of registration; when teams are finalized, you will be invoiced accordingly
Travel tryout information can be found below. All tryouts (for both boys and girls) occur at the same time (but separate locations) unless otherwise noted. Locations will be announced & emailed to you when tryout registration has concluded.

The Travel Program is composed of 18 teams for our premier players between the 4th and 8th grades.

Travel Teams practice 2 times per week and play a season of 25-40 games, plus tournaments outside the community.
We aim to field 10 Girls' and 10 Boys' Travel teams, organized by grade; one for each of the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades and by Orange and black designations.
Once per week, both the orange and black teams for their respective grade will practice together.
The RBA is a member of the Fairfield County Basketball League (FCBL) and participates in their end of the year playoffs.
Making the cut on a Travel team requires a great deal of commitment from players and parents. By nature and design, this environment is a highly competitive one.
