House Program

HOUSE BASKETBALL 2024-2025

  • The RBA is pleased to announce that Registration for the RBA House Program opens on September 1.
    • Registration will be open from then until October 27.
    • After October 27, a waiting list will be open. We cannot guarantee placement for those on a waiting list. To sign up for the waiting list, please email admin@rbahoops.com
  • All players who have a confirmed registration will be placed on a team.
  • Player Evaluations will take place on the weekend of November 8th-9th.
    • This is in an effort to make teams as competitive as possible.
  • Practices will begin during the week of November 18th.
  • The House time commitment is a one-hour practice per week and 1-2 games each weekend.
    • All events are in Ridgefield.

    • Our programs rely on the efforts of our volunteer coaches, so please consider volunteering. Coaches will have the priority to pick their practice time, night, and gym.

Program Overview

The House program hosts the largest number of players, with 700-800 boys and girls between grades 3 and 12. Our High School programs start later to accommodate fall high school varsity program scheduling as well as the start of the varsity boys and girls high school programs.

    We strive to organize teams of no more than 8 players and are in the gym an average of 3 to 4 hours each week. Players are guaranteed to play one half or more of each game.

    The Boys' House and Girls' House Programs are each divided into divisions by grades with each team playing about 14 games within in its own division.

    The House season culminates on Super Sunday, where after two weeks of playoffs, the best two teams from each division face off in the center of town at Yanity Gymnasium for the Championship Games.
