The Holland Division was established in 2004 as a separate division of the Ridgefield Basketball Association to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities to enjoy the game of basketball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide. Games include peers (often siblings) to help out, along with the Holland Division director and coach, as well as volunteers from the RBA program. The children are encouraged to learn basic basketball skills and most of all have fun. The Holland Division players wear the same uniforms and use the same equipment as other RBA players.
In order for this program to be held we need a minimum amount of participants.
The fee covers insurance while the RBA picks up the cost of shirts, gym time, trophies and equipment.
